1.19.2 Sidebar metadata

The metadata in the sidebar must be distinguished between two display locations:
the display in full screen mode
the display within the record view
When displayed in full screen mode, the metadata of the superordinate structural elements are also displayed. In this case, the configuration as described in Chapter 1.19.1 applies.
When displayed within the record view, only the metadata of the current structural element are shown.
The configuration is analogous to the configuration of the main metadata:
The configurations are each placed in an element <template>
. In the above example, a separate metadata list is configured for the Map structure type, which also displays the MD_COORDINATES
metadata.
The additional attribute topstructValueFallback="true"
is also permitted in the <param />
entries. If this is set, the metadata of the main record is displayed, even if it is not contained in the structural element. A typical scenario is to always display the signature of manuscripts in the sidebar.
The template _GROUPS
is used especially for the configuration of sidebar metadata of groups (tape series).
