1.10 ePub download

Records for which OCR results are available in ABBYYXML or ALTO format can be downloaded as ePub. The prerequisite for this is the use of external PDF generation. The download links are provided analogously to the PDF download links, but no ePubs can be generated for parts of a record.

The ePubs are cached in a separate folder. This folder can be configured:

<epub>
    <downloadFolder>/opt/digiverso/viewer/download_epub</downloadFolder>
</epub>

The value given in the example above is the default value that will be used if the folder is not specifically configured.

The locations where the download link is to be available are configured analogously to the PDF download:

<epub>
     <titleEpubEnabled>true</titleEpubEnabled>
     <tocEpubEnabled>true</tocEpubEnabled>
     <metadataEpubEnabled>true</metadataEpubEnabled>
</epub>
